Clinton, UT

Tell us about your life now, including your family, your hobbies, your occupation and any accomplishments during the last 20 years.

In the last 20 years I have gotten married, had 2 boys, worked at University of Utah Hospital on Labor and Delivery, then became a stay at home momma after my second baby. Once he started all day school, I got bored and now I work for Bell Photographers. It’s a good part time gig until I decide to do nursing school. 😉 We have been on so many fun adventures with so many more to come! I love to travel and spend time with my little family. Concerts, camping, friends. It’s really hard to sum up 20 years btw. Lol!

What is your favorite memory from high school?

Probably German class with Mr. Parrish. Never a dull moment in there and Friday night football games.

What do you think your “high school self” would be most surprised to learn about you now?

That 2 kids was plenty.

Are you planning to attend our 20 year reunion on July 9th?

Where do you currently live:

Castle Dale, UT

Tell us about your life now, including your family, your hobbies, your occupation and any accomplishments during the last 20 years:

Hello!! I’m Jacque Ware!! My maiden name is Andrews. How has it been 20 years?! After high school I earned a degree from the University of Utah in Meteorology. Go Utes!! Unfortunately I ended up not pursuing a career in Meteorology. After about 4 years of just working in a dead end job I decided I needed to go back to school and I decided Nursing would be a good fit for me! So I earned my BSN from Idaho State University in 2015. While in nursing school I met my husband on eharmony! He’s a nerd like me and I love that about him! He moved up to Boise to be with me and after I graduated we ended up staying in the Boise area for a few years. I worked as a MedSurg nurse and clinical instructor for new nursing students while we were there. Also, while living in Boise I earned my MSN from Western Governors University. We had our first boy, Orion, in 2017. We quickly realized we wanted him to grow up closer to both our families so we ended up moving back to Utah. We settled on Castle Dale. For those of you who don’t know where that is, it’s about 30 minutes south of Price and it’s right next to the San Rafael Swell! Lots of outdoor adventures in our backyard!! About a year after moving to Castle Dale we had our second boy in 2019, Bridger. My boys are my life and I can’t imagine not being a mom! They keep me on my toes for sure! When we moved to Castle Dale, I started working as a nurse at Castleview hospital in Price and I started teaching clinicals again, but now for Utah State University. Within a year I was hired on as a full time Nursing Professor with Utah State and so I teach both in the classroom and in the clinical setting. I absolutely love my job!! As for hobbies, I love the outdoors and traveling! With my current job I have summers off and I utilize them as much as possible!! I love 4-wheeling, boating, camping, hiking, etc. Anything that gets me in nature!! Thanks to my husband, I have also found that I LOVE RPG video games! I’m slightly obsessed with Dragon Age and Mass Effect. I could play those games over and over again! So when I can’t get outside and I’m not spending time with my family, that’s probably what I’m doing! That’s pretty much me. I look forward to seeing everyone at the reunion!!

What is your favorite memory from high school?:

Cruising state street with my friends in my Mustang with the top down!!

What do you think your “high school self” would be most surprised to learn about you now?:

I was so shy in high school and absolutely hated speaking in front of people. In college I would drop a class if I knew a presentation was required. So my high school self would be very surprised that I am a nursing professor and speak in front of many students now!!

Are you planning to attend our 20 year reunion on July 9th?

Where do you currently live?

Currently we live in Murray just down the street from Cottonwood High School

Tell us about your life now, including your family, your hobbies, your occupation and any accomplishments during the last 20 years.

After high school and a year of goofing around down at Snow College, I went on a mission to Brazil. I got back and met the girl of my dreams and married her. That one decision has been the best decision of my life. After 15 years, we are still happily married with two children and we are still madly in love with each other. I graduated from the University of Utah with a Bachelor’s degree in film and media arts and then I went back for a second degree in painting and drawing/video game animation. Life took some weird detours for me and I was not able to continue on that path toward video game animation. I was able to get various jobs with my video and graphic design skills which eventually landed me at KSL NewsRadio as a Digital Content producer. On the side I have always continued to be an independent filmmaker in the local Utah film community. I have recently been mentoring with the filmmaker that made the Music videos for the Killers and have enjoyed working with him. As some of you may remember, I was always playing my guitar and writing music in High School and that hasn’t changed. I still write my own music and last year I was able to compose 3 film scores for a local filmmaker and I also arranged my first choral piece! As for my career in radio, every now and then I make an appearance on 103.5 the Arrow as Ryan the Zion Comedian and I am now working on my own podcast for KSL Podcasts called The Path of Art. (the first episode goes up within the next two weeks depending on the art departments haste in getting my show art ready.) I am currently in a band called TGRI as the drummer on most songs and I just filmed our first music video. Check it out here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cjZ19v4tD9k (Yes that sexy beast in the button up shirt is Mark Rose.) Right now life could not be better. I am with the love of my life and am able to spend lots of quality time with my beautiful children and keep up filmmaking and songwriting due to my flexible schedule. Life is good.

What is your favorite memory from high school?

Disrupting math class with Alex Rogerson no matter how far apart the teacher separated us.

What do you think your “high school self” would be most surprised to learn about you now?

I think my high school self would be most surprised by how perfect things turned out from the woman I married to my eclectic lifestyle i live that just somehow works. Also, he would be pissed to see how much hair I have lost!

Where do you currently live?

Chicago, IL

Tell us about your life now, including your family, your hobbies, your occupation and any accomplishments during the last 20 years.

I currently live on the north side of Chicago, IL in a neighborhood called Andersonville. I live with my partner Ray who works in finance and is also in law school and we have a 13-year-old Yorkshire Terrier-Poodle mix named Jonah. I am the Executive Director of Public Relations for a boutique PR and brand strategy agency that works with a wide range of clients from fashion, luxury retail, CPG, interior design and cannabis. After high school I moved to Los Angeles and went to the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising where I studied fashion design. I graduated and moved to New York where I decided design wasn’t my strong suit and wanted to focus more on business and marketing. I moved to Paris, France to get my bachelors from Parsons Paris. After graduation I moved back to New York and eventually began working in luxury fashion PR and events. I’ve been lucky enough to work with incredible designers and brands like Marc Jacobs, Alexander McQueen, Givenchy and have helped plan events for Prada, Miu Miu, the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, and the Met Gala. Over the last decade I have specialized in launching emerging brands like Reese Witherspoon’s brand Draper James, Rothy’s, and Brock Collection. Since moving to Chicago I’ve expanded my career from working with just fashion brands to also working with major CPG brands like method and Reel Paper. I continue to work in the fashion space and help global luxury brands with retail stores in Chicago execute national programs here in the city. Our last major event was with Gucci launching a pop-up store in Chicago for the NBA All Stars tournament in 2020 just weeks before the world shut down. Outside of work I love to travel, ride my Peloton, spend time on the Chicago lakefront, and cook. I throw a mean dinner party!

What is your favorite memory from high school?

I think my favorite memories from high school all involve the drama program and all of the shows I was a part of. I also loved the Utah tradition of asking people to dances and how crazy that all was.

What do you think your “high school self” would be most surprised to learn about you now?

I think my high school self would be most surprised to learn that I would start playing football in my twenties. I’ve been an active member of the National Gay Football League playing in both New York and Chicago and have also been a member of the Chicago national tournament team, traveling the country playing teams from all over the U.S. To no ones surprise, as a 6’6″ giant, I am an excellent blocker and most people just bounce right off of me.

Tell us about your life now, including your family, your hobbies, your occupation and any accomplishments during the last 20 years.

After graduating with a bachelors in History from USU, an LDS mission to San Francisco, and a stint working for my dad’s property management business, I went to work for the Division of Archives and Records Service. I’ve been there since 2008 in some capacity. I’ve worked with historical records, reformatting records, training government how to take care of records. Since 2020 I work as the Executive Secretary for the State Records Committee (still at the Archives, but I don’t work with historical records anymore.) Basically when a member of the public wants access to records and access is denied (or records are redacted), they can appeal to the Committee. It’s a wonderful job. In 2010 I met my husband on a blind date. It was a game night at a friend’s house (pictured at my game booth). Not love at first sight because he looked big and intimidating. It was love at first game. We were married in 2011. All infertility treatments have failed so we’re childless. We travel as much as we can. Usually exploring Utah history. I still keep up with artwork. I go to tabletop game conventions and paint game pieces. (See Paint My Game on FB for photos.) It’s so much fun, but only makes enough money to keep the hobby self sustaining.

What is your favorite memory from high school?

Mr. Bill’s classes, and working on Peter Pan. I wanted to be a pirate but I’m 4’10” so I had to be a lost boy. It was a blast!

What do you think your “high school self” would be most surprised to learn about you now?

My high school self would be surprised that I use ASL more now than ever in my life. I never really embraced the fact that I am Deaf in high school. I saw it as a disability, not part of my identity. Now I own it and it’s awesome!

Tell us about your life now, including your family, your hobbies, your occupation and any accomplishments during the last 20 years.

I have my own little LLC trucking in wild land firefighting during summers. Oilfield work offseason building ice roads on Alaska’s North Slope or moving drilling rigs in the Bakken field. Took a year off after high school before joining the Marines in 2003. Moved around the country and the world and still haven’t really put roots down, yet. Cali, South and North Carolina, Iraq, Japan; I’ve called home. Living out of two sea bags has its positives and negatives. As a typical young Marine, married and divorced with a soon to be 15 year old (Ryu Frank), and a three pack of 11 year olds (Soshi James, Yushi Graham, and Aira Madeleine; identical boys and a fraternal daughter) living with their mother in Japan. Unfortunately, living in SoCal at the time, my computer and hard drive with a lot of those pics are gone due to theft, and as the handle implies, my old account was shut down. During my time in the Corps, I lived in Japan for a total of 6 years, deployed to OIF in Iraq (unfortunately didn’t get the Afghan experience), and beat the hell out of my body. Two back surgeries before last year are a testament to that. I ran a different company in real estate in SoCal doing property preservation (basically preparing foreclosures for sale after they weren’t moved at auction). Fun little gig, but too time consuming. Current hobbies involve shadetree mechanic work, cooking, step fathering, and just living free knowing we can die at any time and any moment out of our control.

What is your favorite memory from high school?

The “Lloyd” crew going to $5 Pizza on Fridays, rolling into classes 15-20 minutes late after lunch. Best part was Dave Lloyd only joined the crew once, after we’d been using his name. And also changing their menu to say “pinenipples” and “jalapenis”, because we’re adolescent teens.

What do you think your “high school self” would be most surprised to learn about you now?*

Health and nutrition are things I learned and follow…

Right out of high school, I moved to North Carolina. I was there until my 21st birthday. I went through a rough few years. I met my son’s father when I was 26, think. I found out that I was pregnant when I was 27. I had an amazing little boy that we named Kolton a week before my 28th birthday. His father and I split before he was 2. I got married in 2017 and we split just before Covid hit. I work in IT and I’m going back to school for my bachelor degree. That’s basically the cliff notes version, lol.

What is your favorite memory from high school?

Getting Mr. Garcia fired.

What do you think your “high school self” would be most surprised to learn about you now?

That I ever got married in the first place.

Where do you currently live?

Payson, Utah

Tell us about your life now, including your family, your hobbies, your occupation and any accomplishments during the last 20 years.

I’ve been married to an amazing hard working man for almost 18 years. We have 4 children….a 19 year old, 17 year old, 14 year old and our caboose is 5 years old. My husband runs a framing construction company and we used to build spec houses, which we really enjoyed doing. 2.5 years ago, we built our dream home on some farm land in Payson where we have loved planting our roots. I am a Stay at home Mom and have loved keeping up with my kids activities throughout the years. I have been a soccer mom, t-ball mom, gymnastic mom, cheer mom, and barrel racing mom but I’ve been a moto mom the longest. I was even in Motoplayground magazine answering questions about being a Moto Mom and that was so exciting. Our kids have all been raised on dirt bikes and we’ve been racing motocross for the last 10 years. Our 14 year old currently has 11 AMA national titles and we have been to races in California, Idaho, Oklahoma, Texas, Georgia, Washington, and Tennessee. This sport can be brutal yet amazing and seeing your child’s hard work pay off and landing him on the podium is an incredible feeling. The injuries are the absolute worst part though. We travel a ton and are gone every other weekend (sometimes every weekend) racing motocross and although it’s challenging, we have had so much fun making memories at different tracks and have made some awesome friends along the way. We also enjoy boating, wake surfing, wakeboarding, snowboarding, snowmobiling and bowling. I have had fun baking and cooking for my family and friends throughout the years and love finding yummy gluten free recipes we enjoy ever since my daughter was diagnosed with celiac disease.

What is your favorite memory from high school?

Probably graduating.

What do you think your “high school self” would be most surprised to learn about you now?

That I have designed a few houses myself.

Are you planning to attend our 20 year reunion on July 9th?

No.
